A cold Texas homecoming!!!!
It is very cold tonight and just plain yucky outside!! In Texas rain and 38 degree weather feels like 20!! Boy, did the school children show the unfortunate effects of cabin fever this week!!! We did not get to go outside and play one day. So......that means extra tattleing, fighting, touching, talking, running and whatever kids do when they do not want to pay attention. Now I just want a bubble bath and the bed. I am so excited to know what the Sandel/Winter families are experiencing, as the weather and annoying children are the least of their worries!!!!!! Jackson Christopher was flying home to the states today from Guatemala with his new mommy and daddy. For those of you who dont know who that is...it is the baby I asked for prayers in a previous blog. The day has come for them to all join as a family. Everyone is probably crying and holding and kissing and crying some more. Everytime I told someone at school about him coming home today I just teared up....so I know tears of intense joy and huge hearts are somewhere between Intercontinental and Tomball right now. I hopefully can get a hold of a picture and post it on my blog. Me being adopted and having excellent parents can relate to how much Jackson has instore for him!!! Thank you God tonight for the wonderful plan you have in store for me that I dont even know yet and thank you for the plan you have had and have for Jackson. I hope I can meet him very soon. Stay warm and happy weekend!
